Rejected Mail & Refund Policy
Cheeki Services is not responsible for items that are rejected by a correctional facility for any reason. It is the responsibility of the inmate and/or purchaser to verify facility-specific mail policies before placing an order.
If an item is rejected by a facility and returned to our office, a refund may be issued according to the following guidelines:
- The original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- A $4.00 rejected-item handling fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Any applicable refund will be issued to the original method of payment after the rejected item is received back at our office.
- Refunds cannot be processed until the rejected item has been physically returned to Cheeki Services.
- If a facility destroys, discards, loses, or otherwise fails to return a rejected item to our office, no refund will be issued.
- Shipping delays, mailroom processing delays, facility policy changes, and facility mailroom decisions are beyond our control and are not grounds for a refund.
- Cheeki Services reserves the right to deny refunds for excessive, repeated, or suspicious rejection claims.
By placing an order with Cheeki Services, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
We strongly recommend that inmates and purchasers review all facility mail guidelines before ordering. Facility mail policies vary by institution and may change at any time without notice.
